RUGBY UNION: WASPS centre Elliot Daly is one of 16 England players named in the 41-man squad for the British and Irish Lions squad to tour New Zealand this summer.
The 24-year-old has been selected by coach Warren Gatland for the tour from June 3-July 8 which will feature three test matches against the All Blacks.
Gatland has named 16 England players, 12 from Wales , 11 from Ireland two from Scotland in his squad, with Sam Warburton set to captain the team.
Gatland said: “The competition for places makes us excited heading to New Zealand. We’ve got the depth and quality to handle the opposition we face.”
