TRANSFER UPDATE: Coventry City reject Derby Offer for Tom Bayliss and say he is staying

Editorial Correspondent 31st Jan, 2018 Updated: 31st Jan, 2018

COVENTRY City have today rejected a “big money” offer from Derby County for talented 18-year-old midfielder Tom Bayliss, we can confirm.

Our club sources told us tonight they were not interested in selling the academy graduate who has been a revelation since coming into the first team at the end of last year.

The Sky Blues are hoping to secure Jonson Clarke-Harris, an attacking 23-year-old from Rotherham on loan before 11pm tonight.

And Ben Stevenson’s move to Wolves is expected subject to a medical.
