Coventry Editorial 29th Jul, 2022   0

COVENTRY United Women have announced Cara Milne-Redhead as their first signing of the summer.

The former Manchester City and Manchester United youth midfielder is new boss Lee Burch’s first recruit ahead of the 2022/23 season.

And 19-year-old Milne-Redhead has been capped by Scotland up to under-17 level and represented Seton Hall Pirates in the NCAA Division One last season.

Milne-Redhead said: “I’m delighted to sign for Coventry United. I’m really excited to make this step up from academy football to the Championship.

“I am a skilful and hardworking midfielder, who loves to play with freedom and creativity. I hope to bring what I have learnt during my time at Manchester City and the Scotland National Team to the team.

“I am looking forward to learning more from Lee and the coaches. It’s an exciting time for Coventry United and I can’t wait to be a part of it.”
