COVENTRY United Ladies have confirmed that influential midfielder Mollie Green has left the club.
Green scored a dramatic 97th minute winner to keep the Red and Greens in the Women’s Championship with a 1-0 win against relegation rivals Watford on the final day of the season.

The midfielder was one of the club’s standout performers last season having proven herself as one of the division’s best players.
The club tweeted: “Thank you Mollie Green!
“We wish you all the luck in your career and thank you for the amazing memories.
“You will stay in the hearts of every United fan forever.
“Once a Red and Green, always a Red and Green.”
And the news of Green’s departure comes just hours after the club released a statement confirming they will be reverting to a part-time playing model next season.
