Tony Mowbray thanks Sky Blues fans as season ticket sales pass 2,000

SKY Blues boss Tony Mowbray has thanked supporters for showing faith in his vision after season tickets sales for the 2015/16 season surpassed 2,000.

With just under two weeks to go until the early bird period ends on June 30, the League One club have reached a third of their 6,000 target.

And Mowbray, who has spoken about the important role the fans will play during his reign, is urging more people to take advantage of the fourth lowest season ticket price in the third tier.

He said: “I’m delighted that our supporters are starting to feel positive about next season already.

“I’ve been told that we’re pushing up towards the halfway stage in our target for 6,000 Season Tickets and we are grateful to those fans who have already signed up.

“Naturally, we want to push up closer to our target as soon as we can and I genuinely believe it’s going to be a team effort next season, with our supporters playing a big part for us.

“The more Season Tickets we can sell the better and we’ve also had some very positive news around sponsorships in the last few days.

“All of that goes into the pot which can help us put the right structure and team in place to give us the best chance of success.”

Season ticket prices in the standard zone have dropped to just £249 for adults who buy during the early-bird period, which is a £96 saving on last season and equates to less than £11 per match.

There is no longer a premium zone at the Ricoh Arena as blocks 19, 20 and 21 will enjoy standard zone pricing, while the family zone is moving to blocks 23 and 24 in the East Stand.

And the club’s commitment to attracting the next generation of Sky Blues fans remains firm, with Junior Sky Blues (JSBs) under the age of 12 eligible for a free season ticket in the family zone.

JSBs aged between 12 and 16 have seen their prices in the family zone reduced to £23, which is just £1 per game.

Concessions prices have also dropped to £191 from £230 in the standard zone and that equates to just over £8 per game.

Supporters are able to buy on the web at ccfcshop.co.uk and they are available over the phone on 024 7699 2326 or 024 7699 2332 or in person at the CCFC Superstore until June 25.
