TEAM NEWS: Slade confirms starting XI to face Shrewsbury Town

COVENTRY City team manager Russell Slade has announced team changes, with a possible 4-3-3 formation for today’s game against Shrewsbury, kick-off 3pm.

Attacking trio Stuart Beavon, Kwame and George Thomas all feature up front as Slade aims to have firepower to his attacking unit.

There is no spot for loanee Charles Vernam. Ryan Haynes comes in at he back.

Haynes will be joined by Dion Kelly-Evans, skipper Nathan Clarke and Jordan Turnbull in defence.

Reilly and Foley keep their Midfield places with Andy Rose completing the midfield.

Lee Burge starts in goal.

COVENTRY starting XI:  Burge (GK), Di. Kelly-Evans, Clarke (C), Turnbull, Haynes, Rose, Foley, Reilly, K.Thomas, G.Thomas, Beavon.

Shrewsbury Town manager Paul Hurst has named an unchanged side from their 4-3 win against Charlton Athletic on Tuesday night.

Danger duo Tyler Roberts and Louis Dodds will start up front.

SHREWSBURY starting XI: Jayson Leutwiler (GK), Mat Sadler (C), Shaun Whalley, Stephen Humphrys, Louis Dodds, Junior Brown, Jack Grimmer, Ryan Yates, Gary Deegan, Aristote Nsiala, Tyler Roberts.
