MARK Selby and Neil Robertson meet in the Cazoo World Grand Prix semi-finals at the CBS Arena in Coventry tonight with Ronnie O’Sullivan also in action.
World number one Selby ended Tom Ford’s fine run to the last eight with a 5-2 victory to set up a clash with Australian Robertson in the final four.
And Robertson also reached the semi-finals after winning the final frame to clinch a 5-4 win against China’s Yan Bingtao.
On the other side of the draw, The Rocket eased into the quarter-finals with a 4-1 win against Hossein Vafaei.
However, number two seed Luca Brecel was eliminated from the competition after he suffered a 4-3 defeat to Jimmy Robertson.
The other two last 16 matches were close as Stephen Maguire edged last year’s runner-up Jack Lisowski 4-3 and Stuart Bingham beat Ali Carter by the same scoreline.
Today’s action sees quarter-final matches between Maguire and Bingham and O’Sullivan and J. Robertson take place from 1pm.
Whilst the mouth-watering semi-final between Selby and N. Robertson begins at 7pm.
