Sky Blues' clash with Rotherham off after Millers report positive COVID-19 tests

Coventry Editorial 9th Mar, 2021   0

COVENTRY City’s crunch six-pointer against Rotherham United will not go ahead this weekend, after the Millers reported positive COVID-19 tests amongst their first-team squad.

The Sky Blues were hoping to build on last weekend’s morale-boosting victory over Derby County in Saturday’s trip to the AESSEAL New York Stadium, but will now be forced to watch on and see how their Championship rivals fare instead.

With no date yet announced for the rescheduled fixture, Mark Robins side will now be afforded lengthy preparation time for their next outing, a visit to Luton Town on Tuesday, March 16.
