WASPS flanker Jack Willis has been named in England’s 36-man squad for this weekend’s Test against the Barbarians.
Willis has three England caps to his name and made his return to competitive action in February this year after suffering a long-term knee injury on international duty.
The 25-year-old was ruled out for 12 months following the injury he sustained at the 2021 Six Nations but has quickly returned to form to force his way back into Eddie Jones’ plans.
This weekend’s clash will play a big part in deciding which players Jones picks for England’s summer tour of Australia.
Jones said: “This is a strong, diverse squad. There are a lot of exciting, young players and some experienced players who have another opportunity to shine.
“Everyone will be given the chance to make their case for being part of the Australia tour squad while we prepare for the Barbarians.”
England’s clash with the Barbarians takes place on Sunday, June 19 with kick-off at 3pm at Twickenham.
