WASPS have had six of their players called up to England’s three-day training camp squad this week.
Biyi Alo, Charlie Atkinson, Alfie Barbeary, Paolo Odogwu, Dan Robson and Jack Willis have all been rewarded for their fine form with a place in the 35-man squad.
Only Robson and Willis have previously been capped by England whilst Barbeary was included in England’s Six Nations squad but did not feature in the tournament.
England head coach Eddie Jones said: “With a number of players unavailable because of the Premiership semi-finals, we’ve got the opportunity to call up some new players.
“It’s a great opportunity to learn about them and see what potential they have to play a part in the Australia tour.”
The squad will meet at The Lensbury today as England prepare for next weekend’s match against the Barbarians and July’s tour of Australia.
