PETER Busby is back to winning ways again after winning the Second Round of the Midland Evening Summer Mountain Bike Series in Milton Keynes.

Busby, who finished a close second behind M.I.Racing team mate Phil Roach in the opening round, now has a clear lead in the series thanks to an impressive performance last Friday evening.

Team mate Tim Stowe is slowly getting back to form following a series of operations for a shoulder injury and finished in sixth position.

Elsewhere, European and British Triathlon Champion Samantha Anderson was back in action over the weekend and won the Gloucester Triathlon.

Anderson was using the event as a warm up for the European Aquathlon Championships in Germany at the end of May and showed signs of form by finishing seventh fastest overall.

And Coventry cyclist Joe Atkins will race full-time road races in Belgium which is know for being the ‘hot bed’ for cycling racing.

Joe has signed for a Belgium team for the next three months thanks to the collection of contacts of team boss Mick Ives.
