COVENTRY Blaze have confirmed captain Kim Tallberg will remain with the club for the 2025/26 season.
The Swede will enter a fourth year with Blaze in the Elite League and has become a fan favourite at the Skydome Arena.
The 33-year-old forward has registered 143 points in Coventry colours – 58 goals and 85 assists – in 197 Elite League games.
Tallberg said: “I’m super excited and grateful to keep going with Coventry.
“We take it step by step in the right direction, and I’m happy to be a part of that.
“I really appreciate all you fans and everyone around the club – you’re awesome.”
Blaze head coach, Kevin Moore added: “Kim Tallberg is the most positive and energetic human that I have ever met.
“His daily commitment to excellence, camaraderie, and teamwork is unmatched and I couldn’t be happier that our captain is back for another year.”
Tallberg won the clubman of the season prize at Blaze’s recent end-of-season awards ceremony.
He previously won the coach’s players, players’ player and supporters’ player of the year awards in the 2022/23 campaign.
Before joining the Blaze, Tallberg built a strong career in his native Sweden.
He tallied 93 points (48 goals, 45 assists) in 272 Allsvenskan games.
Tallberg also produced 168 points (84 goals, 84 assists) over 272 appearances in HockeyEttan.
