COVENTRY-based team St John Fisher FC are just one win away from glory as they prepare to play in the final of the National Christian Cup.
The club won the National Christian Trophy in 2021 and have gone one better this season to reach the National Cup final.
St John Fisher are the first team from the Midlands to ever reach the final with the Cup the most prestigious tournament in the church football network.
They will play Manchester-based Kings Church FC in the showpiece with around 200 supporters expected to support the team.
The final takes place on Saturday, May 20 at Burton Albion’s Pirelli Stadium with kick-off at 4pm.
