COVENTRY City chairman Doug King has revealed former England and Chelsea great Frank Lampard has applied for the vacant manager’s job at the club.
Lampard, considered the odds-on favourite to replace Mark Robins with Sky Bet at 4/11, is hoping to return to the dugout for the first time since the end of the 2022/23 season.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, King confirmed Lampard has submitted his CV to replace Mark Robins and is one of a number of candidates under consideration by the club although the recruitment process is not yet underway.
