COVENTRY City goalkeeper Ben Wilson has signed a new contract with the Sky Blues keeping him at the club until the summer of 2027.
Wilson has made 117 appearances for the club, recording 45 clean sheets, since his arrival in July 2019.
The 32-year-old broke the club-record for most clean sheets in a single season after keeping 22 shutouts in the 2022/23 campaign which earned the goalkeeper the EFL Golden Glove award.
Wilson said: “I’m over the moon. I’ve been here a number of years now and I was getting to the stage where I wasn’t sure what was going to be happening next season, so to extend my contract I’m absolutely thrilled.
“I can’t wait to get going and for everything I’ve done over the last few years with Coventry I want to make more memories with them and push to the very top.”
Wilson also scored a memorable last gasp equaliser for Coventry at Blackburn Rovers in the 2022/23 season.
His performances that season also earned him a place in the Championship team of the season as City reached the play-off final.
He has made six appearances for the Sky Blues in all competitions this season.
