TEAM MI Racing Townsend Vehicle Hire riders delivered more impressive results across the country.
Warwick-based rider Jack O’Neill finished sixth in a time of 1 hour 43 minutes and 27 seconds on his road bike in the Beacon RCC Little Mountain time trial.
More than 60 riders from around the country took part in the race over a 39-mile route with almost 1,000 metres of climbing.
Nuneaton-based David Mead continued his fine form by taking victory at Droitwich Cycling Club’s open 10-mile race.
Mead clocked a time of 20 mins 16 secs to take the race win with teammate Simon Law in eighth and Joe Murray 11th.
Warwick-based rider Tom Bradley raced in the road bike category and finished second in 23 mins 31 secs.
The combined times of Mead, Law and Murray saw the trio claim the prize for the fastest team.
Bradley returned to the same course the following week in a Redditch Road and Path Cycling Club event.
The Team MI Racing rider claimed his first open time trial victory of the season with Murray second on the veteran category.
Elsewhere, Rugby-based team member Greg Ashley swapped his bike for running spikes.
Ashley made the long journey to Nepal to race in the Annapurna Marathon.
The race starts at the Annapurna base camp at an altitude of 4,130 meters with the route ending at the village of Ghandruk at an altitude of 2,000 metres.
The trail race also clocks up more than 1,700 metres of climbing while conditions included snow, rain and hot weather.
Ashley completed the race in 9 hrs 59 mins.
And Northampton-based Andy Oliver also headed to the United States of America to compete in the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon.
He formerly served in the RAF and was chosen by the Invictus Games Foundation to form part of a three-man relay team to represent the United Kingdom in the race.
Oliver rode the hilly 18-mile cycling leg of the triathlon which began in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.
The bike leg included more than 500 metres of climbing around the city.
And Oliver and his teammates finished in third place in the all-male relay team category in a time of 2 hrs 32 mins 14 secs.
Elsewhere, MI Racing’s top mountain bike riders took part in the latest round of the Welsh National mountain bike Series.
Round three of the competition took place at Builth Wells as Wrexham-based rider Nick Whitley won the veteran-50 category race.
At the same event, Layla Bradbrook finished second in the female elite race.
Layla and older sister Holly also took part in the fourth round of the British Championships held in Yorkshire.
Layla finished 12th in the elite category with Holly second in the expert category.
Team member Lynsey Whitley raced in the North Wales Circuit Series in Rhyl where she finished seventh overall and second in the female veteran race in torrential rain.
Lastly, in round four of the Lotus Cars Cycle Race League, new signing Andrew Braithwaite finished sixth in the veteran 40-plus race.
Teammate Richard Perham finished sixth in the veteran 50-plus race with Raymond Cochrane second in the veteran 60-plus race.
