COVENTRY have qualified for the National League play-offs.
The Europress Bees are fourth in the table and proceed into the title shoot-out alongside Mildenhall, Eastbourne and Kent.
The only team who could have knocked Bees out of the top four during the closing weekend were Birmingham, had they secured an unlikely league point at unbeaten leaders Mildenhall on Sunday.
But that match was rained-off so Bees are safe in fourth place even though their own match at bottom club Buxton was postponed last weekend.
And with the Brummies having a marginal race-points advantage, it means the key result was the Bees’ 53-36 win when the sides met a fortnight ago, in which the Perry Barr side were prevented from taking a league point.
Dates for the play-off semi-finals, in which the Bees are expected to face Eastbourne, are yet to be confirmed.
