Craig Gibbons 22nd Jun, 2018

COVENTRY Rugby will look to retain their title when competing in this year’s annual Olney Sevens tournament this weekend.

The selected playing squad for Saturday’s tournament at Olney will be cheered on by the whole squad and coaching staff who will be supporting from the sidelines.

A mixture of experience and youth has been selected for the squad with an abundance of pace on offer.

New-boys Will Flinn, Tim Bitirim, Andy Bulumakau and former Scotland Sevens international Junior Bulumakau will all be on display in the Blue and White of Coventry Rugby.

Former England Sevens international Jack Preece will captain the side while top points scorer in National One and player of the tournament in 2017, Will Maisey, will be featuring alongside first-team regulars such as Rob Knox, Pete White, Scott Tolmie, Dave Brazier and Tom Jubb, who was also player of the tournament in 2016.

Development academy player James Neal, who has recently featured in a Warwickshire XV which played in the Bill Beaumont County Championship final at Twickenham, will feature with team-mates Louis Roach and Ben Palmer.
