AFTER a weekend off when all Rugby League eyes were on the Challenge Cup Final at Wembley, Coventry Bears return to League One action away at Oldham on Sunday.
Oldham, who came down from the Championship, are tucked in to fifth place and in a good position to be in the play-offs, especially as they now involve teams from third to sixth place.
However, they will be taking nothing for granted as there is still only two points separating Oldham, Hunslet and Whitehaven and only two of those can make the final cut.
Oldham lost their last game away at Newcastle while the Bears downed lowly West Wales Raiders in a hard-fought contest.
With a handful of games left, the Bears are in a mini competition with North Wales Crusaders and London Skolars to establish who has the top Southern development side.
Matt Reid, the popular former Bears player, could be facing his old team- mates as Oldham push for that play-off slot.
