A WOMAN has been found with stab wounds to the neck and chest in Coventry.
Police were dispatched to Clarence Street in the Hillfields area of Coventry at around 3.30am this morning (Tuesday, May 7).
They are appealing for witnesses after the 31-year-old woman was taken to hospital with ‘serious injuries’.
It’s believed she was attacked in Vauxhall Street, before knocking on a number of doors for help.
A passing motorist then called an ambulance.
The area has been cordoned off as forensic and CCTV enquiries continue.
Coventry investigation inspector Becky Farr said: “I am appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and may have information on what happened, to speak to us.
“If you think you may have dash-cam footage of the incident before or after it happened, please check and get in touch with us.”
