Woman, 22, in critical condition after Canley collision

A WOMAN, 22, is in critical condition after being hit by a car in Canley.

The incident occurred on Sir Henry Parkes Road at 6.14pm, yesterday evening (September 21).

The young woman remains fighting for her life in hospital today with a serious head injury.

West Midlands Police is appealing for information.

Police say the driver remained at the scene and is assisting them in their investigation.

No arrests have yet been made.

Sergeant Alan Wood from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “We are trying to establish the circumstances leading up to the crash, and I am appealing for anyone who saw what happened to contact police or email FL.COLLISION_INVEST@west-midlands.police.uk”
