POLICE have issued a warning to uninsured drivers: ‘We will catch you’ after the Coventry North West team seized three vehicles and issued penalties to three drivers within the space of a few hours.
All three incidents happened on Friday.
In the first instance, almost as soon as the officers went on duty they caught up with their first driver (pictured above). On that occasion the motorist also had no licence.
Then a further two were apprehended soon after.
Each will be getting fines of up to £300 and six points on their licences. The one with no licence could face even further action.
Drivers are usually banned from the roads when their licence reaches 12 penalty points.
After issuing the warning on social media the officers said: “This is completely unacceptable and we will remove these drivers and vehicles from our roads.”
