Volunteer plea for baby loss charity

Coventry Editorial 22nd Jan, 2023   0

A BALSALL Common baby loss support charity is calling for volunteers to join them.

The Lily Mae Foundation is asking for extra people to join them with many different types of activities from shaking a bucket, to supporting business operations.

The charity offers a One to One Baby Loss Support Service and baby boxes as well as a number of other projects aimed at helping those who have lost a baby to stillbirth, neonatal death, miscarriage or medical termination.

A spokesperson for the foundation said: “We rely heavily on the kindness of our supporters to help us to continue our much-needed work.

“We understand that it may not always be possible for people to donate money, therefore we ask you to donate your time instead.

“Whether you are a family we have supported, a local person, or friend of the charity, we would love to have you volunteer for us.

“A few hours of your time a year could really help us.”
