VIDEO - Coventry's Armed Forces Day 2021 service to be screened live - watch here

RESIDENTS are being urged to show their support for UK servicemen and servicewomen tomorrow on Armed Forces Day 2021.

Coventry’s Lord Mayor is encouraging residents to show their support.

Due to Covid restrictions, a special service will be streamed live from Holy Trinity Church at 10.30am and the public are welcome to watch and ‘take part’ from their own homes.

Lord Mayor, Coun John McNicholas, said: “Our city has always enjoyed strong links with the forces and this is a day that allows us all to show our gratitude for all they do, every day of the year.

“The flag will be flown from the Council House as a reminder and I encourage everyone in Coventry to support Armed Forces Day by watching the service online and help make it a day to remember.”

The live service can be viewed above from 10.30am.
