Two taken to hospital after double stabbing in Coventry

TWO men were taken to hospital in the early hours of yesterday morning after a double stabbing in Coventry.

Police have launched an investigation after the disorder on Far Gosford Street around 1.30am.

A 21-year-old man was found at the scene with stab wounds and taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

Another 21-year-old man was also taken to hospital with a leg injury which is not thought to be serious.

Although the investigation is in its early stages, police believe it was a targeted attack. Officers have stepped up in the area to reassure local people as the probe continues.
