A MAN has died after a car hit a tree in Coventry this morning.
Neil Keenan was a passenger in the back of the car involved in the crash on Eastern Green Road at the junction of Alspath Lane just before 1am. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Neil’s wife paid tribute to her husband, describing the 52-year-old as a beloved husband, father, son, brother, grandad, foster carer, as well as a ‘keen bowler and fisherman’.
Officers said their thoughts were with Neil’s family and friends at this tragic time. They have requested privacy while they grieve their loss.
Three other people in the car were taken to hospital. Another back seat passenger sustained minor injuries and a front seat passenger suffered a broken arm. The driver also suffered a broken arm and leg.
