TRAVEL ALERT - Railway passengers facing delays between Birmingham New Street and Coventry

Tristan Harris 7th Oct, 2020 Updated: 7th Oct, 2020

A SIGNALLING fault between Northampton and London Euston has meant a reduced service for rail passengers.

The problems are impacting on the stretch between Birmingham New Street and Coventry, via Birmingham International.

Trains are having to run at reduced speed on all lines which means services could be delayed or reduced to a half-hourly service.

Between Nothampton and London Euston – via New Street, International and Coventry – there are currently just two trains per hour in each direction.
