BUSES across Coventry will be diverted today because of various temporary road closures in the city and this could lead to delays.
Below is detailed which services will be altered and the changes they will occur.
Any service not mentioned should run as usual but people are urged to allow extra time for their journey.
Due to city centre road closures bus services are being diverted via the Ring Road and no city centre bus stops will be served during this time, except for Pool Meadow.
The below services that would usually stop at Trinity Triangle stops which will, instead, use a temporary bus hub in Tower Street.
1 – Towards Chapelfields
3 – Both directions
13 – Both directions
16 – Towards Keresley
20 / 20A / 20B and 20C – Towards Foleshill
21 – Both directions
Other diversions throughout the day
Service 1
Towards Walsgrave – after 9am the bus stops on Little Park Street and Earl Street will not be served. Buses will stop in Pool Meadow instead.
The 6.11pm journey from City to Chapelfields will terminate at Earlsdon Street/Albany Road.
Service 3
Late morning/early afternoon – minor diversions at Far Gosford Street and Barley Lea.
Between 4.30pm and 6.30pm bus stops on Ernesford Grange and Stoke Aldermoor will not be served.
Service 5
Between 4pm and 5pm bus stops on Jubilee Crescent will not be served.
Service 6 / 6A
Towards Little Heath – Between 4.15pm and 5pm, services will terminate at Blackberry Lane and Victoria Farm and Little Heath will not be served. Alternative services include the 20A or 20C from the city centre.
Between 4.40pm and 6pm bus stops on Hearsall Common and Spon End will not be served.
Services 8 and 8A
Late morning – minor diversions at Allesley Old Road.
Services 9 and 9A
Between 10.50am and 11.15am bus stops on Mantilla Drive will not be served.
Service 10
Between 1.50pm and 2.05pm bus stops on Earlsdon Street and Beechwood Avenue will not be served.
Between 5.30pm and 6pm bus stops on Albany Road and Butts Road will not be served.
Service 11
Between 5pm and 6pm bus stops on Earlsdon Avenue North and Hearsall Common will not be served.
Service 13
Early afternoon – minor diversions at Far Gosford Street, Deerdale Way and Nunt’s Lane.
Between 4.15pm and 5pm services will terminate at Quorn Way. Willenhall will not be served.
Between 4.15pm and 6pm bus stops on Sandy Lane, Cheveral Avenue and Jubilee Crescent will not be served. Buses will divert via Radford Road.
Service 14
Early afternoon -minor diversions at Whoberley Avenue and Allesley Old Road.
Between 4.30pm and 5.15pm bus stops in Whoberley and Broad Lane will not be served.
Between 5.15pm and 6.15pm bus stops in Spon End, Butts Road will not be served. Buses will divert via Holyhead Road and Four Pounds Avenue in both directions.
Service 17
Late morning – minor diversions at Ball Hill and Hillfields.
Service 18
Between 16:40 and 18:00 bus stops on Hearsall Common and Spon End will not be served.
Service 20 / 20A / 20B / 20C
Late morning – minor diversion at Foleshill Road.
Between 3.45pm and 4.15pm Bell Green shops will not be served. Buses will operate direct via Hall Green Road.
Between 4.15pm and 5pm Bell Green shops and Hall Green Road will not be served. Buses will operate via Hillmorton Road and Deedmore Road.
Service 21
Between 3.45pm and 4.15pm buses will not serve Bell Green shops. The nearest alternative stop is Bell Green Road.
Between 4.15pm and 5pm services will terminate at Robin Hood Road. The main stop at Willenhall will not be served.
Between 4.15pm and 6.30pm Stoney Stanton Road will not be served. Buses will be diverted via Foleshill Road.
