THREE neighbours in Coventry were celebrating winning £1,000 each thanks to their lucky postcode.
The trio who live in Shilton Lane netted the windfall when CV2 2AD was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Saturday.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson sent his well-wishes to the winners and said: “A huge congratulations to our winners in Coventry.
“I’m sure they’ll enjoy spending the cash and treat themselves to something special.”
A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
This draw was promoted on behalf of Postcode Local Trust – a grant giving charity funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery, created to support local community based, grassroots projects with an environmental focus across Great Britain.
It focusses on improving biodiversity and green spaces, increasing community access to outdoor space and combatting climate change and promoting sustainability.
