COVENTRY families will get to experience a series of family-friendly activities at The Reel Store over the summer.

Two exhibitions are currently running, including ‘Machine Memoirs: Space’ by world-famous artist Rekik Anadol.

The display is designed to transport people into a parallel universe using colour, sound and movement.

Soft play areas and interactive activities will be available in the exhibition over the next few weeks at certain time slots.

A second exhibition, ‘The Tides Within Us’ was created by Marshmallow Laser Feast and is an interactive artwork which investigates the flow of oxygen through the human body.

Children’s lunch boxes, games and crafts will also be available in The Reel Store’s cafe.

Reel Store chief executive Martin Sutherland said: “The Reel Store is putting Coventry on the map and showcasing an art you would typically see in major cities across the globe.

“This is an amazing opportunity for visitors to encounter something spectacular in Coventry, the heart of the UK.”
