A FAMILY home in Coventry had its roof blown off overnight by the aggressive Storm Fionn.
The house on Burroughs Close in Stoke Heath had half of its roof reduced to rubble while the family were awoken by the noise.
Foleshill firefighters were called to the scene and shared the startling images on Twitter in the early hours.
The tweet read: “Red Watch Foleshill securing area around three storey town house, entire gable end which has blown off property in Stoke Health Coventry.
Luckily no injuries, be careful out there today. #StormFionn”
High velocity winds have been causing disruption to much of the UK – with gusts of up to 70 mph (113 kph).
