Sky Blues elderly community invited to Coventry City stadium for meet and greet

Ryan Smith 7th May, 2022

COVENTRY City fans are welcoming Sky Blues fans in their elderly community to the Building Society Arena to a free befriending event.

Fans will get the chance to meet some of their fellow blues fans at the meet and greet on May 9, as well as a few Coventry City legends.

The two hour long event will start at 10am with a presentation about the clubs time at Highfield Road, Coventry’s home ground between 1899 and 2005.

Those attending will also get to reminisce about famous players and classic matches through viewing a host of City memorabilia and merchandise.

The befriending morning is aimed at fans that are at the highest risk of isolation.

Carers, family and friends are allowed to join in the fun with their loved ones.

To book your place, contact Coventry Building Society Community Officer Emma Brodie on 07790880614.
