Shot fired at Coventry home

A SHOT was fired at a home in Coventry in a drive-by shooting.

A Coventry Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for information after a shot was fired towards a house on Meadfoot Road, Willenhall, Coventry at 8.30pm yesterday (May 18).

“It is believed a black Ford Focus approached the property, before a shot was fired at the door.

“Fortunately, the residents of the property had moved out so no-one was injured.

“Anyone with any information, or who saw a black Ford Focus or similar car around that area at the time can contact us via Live Chat at between 8am and midnight, call 101 anytime, quoting crime reference 20CV/118207P/19

“Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
