UPDATE: Schoolgirl arrested on suspicion of wounding another Coventry girl after scissor attack

A SCHOOLGIRL has been arrested on suspicion of wounding in Coventry after allegedly attacking another girl.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “We’re investigating after a 14-year-old girl suffered a cut to the head following a disorder in Attoxhall Road, Walsgrave, last night (Wednesday 6 March).

“The girl is believed to have been stabbed by a pair of scissors around 6.15pm and taken to hospital with a minor injury.

“She has been discharged from hospital.

“A 16-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of wounding and is currently in police custody for questioning.

“The suspect is understood to be known to the victim.”
