Ryan Smith 30th Mar, 2022

COVENTRY pet owners are being urged to take along their four-legged friends to the RSPCA Dog Show at 12.30pm this Sunday, April 3.

The event – at Finham Park Secondary School – will feature eight classes including Best Rescue, Best Biggun’, Best Smallun’, Best Girl and Best Boy.

There are also two age specific categories, with the Playful Pup prize only for dogs under one year and the Golden Oldie class for dogs aged 12 and over.

One of the more light-hearted classes of the day will be awarded to the dog looking most like their owner.

All class winners will automatically qualify for the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Coventry’s Best in Show class.

Admission is £1 per person on-the-door with £2 to enter each class.

Owners can register their dogs on the day of the event but will be unable to enter pets with a docked tail or cropped ears.
