A PROUD Scotsman, living in Coventry, will wear an England shirt between now and the Euro 2020 final to raise funds for Scope.
Carl Prinzel was encouraged by the Stourbridge Scope shop manager Gail Daniel to wear the top if the team made it through their semi-final and all of Carl’s shop teams promised to donate to the charity if he did.
Carl, the disability equality charity’s area manager, has been wearing the current Three Lions shirt since Southgate’s team beat Denmark on Wednesday.
He said: “Usually, as a proud Scot I wouldn’t be seen dead in an England shirt, but as it’s for such a good cause I thought I’d bite the bullet.
“I’ve been having lots of banter with customers, they love it.
“And at the end of the day, whatever happens on Sunday, England still couldn’t beat the mighty Scots!”
People can donate to Carl’s cause at their local Scope shop.
