CHESHIRE Police have released this picture of two men who have links to Coventry.

Officers want to speak to them about a purse theft in Warrington town centre.

It happened around 11am on February 5 when the 69-year-old woman was shopping in Heron Foods, Buttermarket Street, Warrington.

Her purse, containing her pension money, was snatched.

PC Graham Davies said: “To take this woman’s pension money is abominable and has left the victim extremely upset.

“We are determined to find those responsible and are following a number of lines of enquiry.

“We believe the men may have links to the Coventry area and would urge anyone who recognises the men in the CCTV image to contact us.”

Anyone with information should contact police at cheshire.police.uk or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
