Police want to identify man involved in disorder at Coventry City's 'unofficial promotion party'

Coventry Editorial 23rd Oct, 2020   0

POLICE are hunting one more person in connection with violence which broke out during Coventry City’s unofficial promotion party in the summer.

Officers have already identified 25 out of 26 people they were trying to identify following the disorder but they still want to speak to this man.

It’s alleged he played an active role in the trouble on June 9 in which bottles and missiles were thrown.

Police are investigating the disorder which erupted after fans were approached by two men who brandished a knife. Those men are also being investigated.

And they are encouraging the man pictured to do the right thing and come forward to speak to them as they want to hear his side of the story.

Anyone else who recognises him should call police on 101, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or provide information via live chat at west-midlands.police.uk
