Police have today (June 18) released an image of a suspect after the incident at Cashino Gaming on Hertford Street, city centre.

A spokesperson said: “We want to trace this suspected thief after a wheelchair bound man was duped into handing over cash.

“The 60-year-old victim was approached by a man at Cashino Gaming in Hertford Street, Coventry, on March 31.

“He spoke to the man about serial numbers on bank notes and then started to look at some of the victim’s money before handing it back and leaving.

“However, some had been taken.”
