Myton Hospices to open new city centre shop

Coventry Editorial 8th Jun, 2018   0

THE Myton Hospices is opening a new city centre charity shop.

The organisation – which runs end of life care services – will now unveil another store on Hertford Street.

It is opening on Thursday, June 21 and this will be Myton’s 24th shop and the fourth new shop to open in a year.

The charity is continuing its expansion after opening its Earlsdon Street shop in April.

A spokesperson said: “As the demand for Myton’s services grows, so does its retail portfolio.

“People shopping in the city centre will soon be able to pick up a bargain at the the new store.”

The charity is inviting residents to the official ribbon cutting at 10am.

The spacious shop will stock a range of menswear, womenswear, accessories and homeware.

It has called on people to donate good quality items to the new shop, to one of Myton’s hospices or its distribution centre.

The charity has three hospices in Coventry, Rugby and Warwick, and has the only inpatient units in Coventry and Warwickshire.

Last year the charity supported more than 1,400 people and their families, in its three hospices.

It provides patient and family support services and community care through ‘Myton at Home’.

The charity is also looking for volunteers for its new shop.
