MYTON Hospice supporters lit up Coventry to raise £45,000 for the charity.
The annual Glow for Myton event saw some 1,000 people run 5km around a neon course at Coventry University’s University Square.
More sponsorship is yet to be handed in but hospice bosses say the Glow event is already the most successful to date.
A charity spokeswoman said: “We are overwhelmed by the support from everyone who took part in this year’s Glow for Myton. We had a record number of people sign up, and the money they have raised so far is fantastic.”
