A MURDER investigation has been launched after a man was found dead with stab wounds in Coventry.
Officers were called to Armfield Street, Wood End, Coventry, at around 9.15pm yesterday (October 3).
A 37-year-old man was found in a back garden with injuries to his chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 41-year-old man was arrested in Wood End soon after on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody for questioning.
A cordon is currently in place in Armfield Street while enquiries continue.
Detective Inspector Jim Colclough, from the force’s homicide team, said: “A man has sadly lost his life and we’re working to establish exactly what happened last night.
“We’re carrying out house-to-house enquiries in the area but would urge anyone with information which can assist our investigation to come forward.”
