More services on offer at Coventry's libraries

Coventry Editorial 7th Oct, 2020   0

STAFF at Coventry’s libraries have been working hard to make more services available for users despite the pandemic.

People can now book 30-minute book-browsing slots and 45-minute computer selections, along with click and collect services at Bell Green, Central, Foleshill, Stoke, Tile Hill and Willenhall libraries.

Click and collect appointments are also now available at Canley, Allesley and Jubilee Crescent libraries.

Coun Kevin Maton, the city council’s Cabinet Member for Education and Skills, praised the staff’s efforts, reminded people to book first and said: “We know how much people value their libraries, so I’m really pleased there are now more ways across the city for people to be able to have a browse or get online.”

“I know how hard staff have been working to adapt the libraries and find ways of allowing people back in. Just make sure you make a booking before you come.”
