A MAN has been treated for serious injuries following a crash involving a car and a moped in Coventry.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Longford Road, Longford, Coventry, at 10.11pm last night (December 18).
It sent an ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance Critical Care Car to the scene.
An ambulance service spokesman said: “On arrival, crews discovered a man, from the moped, who had suffered multiple serious injuries in the collision.
“Following specialist trauma care at the scene from ambulance staff, the man was transported to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) for further assessment.
“The driver of the car was uninjured in the incident.”
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “Can confirm we attended. Not life threatening or changing.”
