Midlands penguins predict New Zealand victory in rugby World Cup final

Coventry Editorial 31st Oct, 2015 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016

PAUL the Octopus may have accurately predicted the outcome of the 2010 football World Cup.

But, have a team of Midlands-based penguins correctly tipped New Zealand to raise the trophy in today’s rugby World Cup final?

Having grown up in a New Zealand aquarium, the colony Gentoo penguins at The National Sea Life Centre in Birmingham showed they were true Kiwis at heart – unanimously predicting their home country would beat the Australians in this afternoon’s match.

The rugby World Cup final match between New Zealand and Australia kicks of at 4pm at Twickenham Stadium, London.
