A MAJOR business exhibition is returning to Coventry for the fist time in two years and is looks set to be bigger than ever.

Prior to the pandemic, the Midlands Business Network Expo had doubled in size since its launch five years ago and in 2017 it attracted 140 exhibitors.

On March 10 it will be back in the Premier Lounge at the Coventry Building Society Arena and is set to attract businesses from across the country as its reputation continued to grow nationally.

Hundreds of visitors are expected on the day, along with business owners, directors, professionals and entrepreneurs.

Local businesses will also be sharing insights and expertise as part of a seminar programme on the day to help visitors drive their own companies forward.

SEO expert Adam Collins and social media specialist founder of Lets Run Social, James Urquhart, have already been confirmed.

Julie de Thierry, business director at the Midlands Business Network, said: “We’ve hosted several shows at Coventry Building Society Arena and it is the ideal location for one of our flagship exhibitions.”

He said since launching five years ago it had developed massively with more than 65,000 firms now among the Midlands Business Network and the exhibitions had also grown.

““We have a strong network here in Coventry, Warwickshire and the wider Midlands, but we have seen our reputation spread nationally and now we attract businesses to our events from London, Manchester and other cities from across the UK.

“As a company we are committed to developing the highest quality exhibitions possible and we are seeing a real appetite and hunger from businesses that want to get back out there and network.”

It will be the sixth time The Midlands Business Network has hosted an exhibition at the CBS Arena.

Paul Michael, the CBS Arena’s commercial director, added: “The feedback for the Midlands Business Network Expo is always fantastic and the event attracts strong footfall throughout the day.

“It is impressive how the show has grown in recent years.”

He said it attracted a diverse range of businesses and he looked forward to welcoming exhibitors and visitors to the CBS Arena in March.
