Men injured as gun fired at car in Coventry

TWO men have been left with shotgun injuries after their car was targeted in Coventry.

Police say the men, aged 21 and 18, were stopped at traffic lights on Far Gosford Street, Coventry, when they were shot at.

Officers are now investigating the incident, which happened at around 10.30pm on February 22.

The pair were taken to hospital for treatment, the injuries are not life threatening.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “An investigation is underway and detectives are appealing to anyone who has any information to get in touch.
