Members of Coventry Citizens Party carry out community litter picks

MEMBERS of the Coventry Citizens Party carried out a litter-pick over the weekend.

Second officer Marcus Fogden and his daughters were with community champion Paul Cowley in Binley and Ernesford Grange on Sunday.

The team cleared rubbish from around the local shops and nearby school including lots of discarded nitrous oxide cannisters.

Paul said: “It is important we all take pride in our local communities.

“These are the places where we live so we should keep them clean and tidy.”

The team will be organising a clean-up in a different area in the coming weeks.
