A MAN who sustained ‘serious stab injuries’ in Coventry today remains in a ‘critical condition’.
Police were called to Victoria Street, Hillfields, at 2.30am on Thursday morning (September 20).
The 56-year-old man was taken to hospital.
In an update this morning, police said: “We are still appealing for information.
“There have been no arrests at this stage.”
West Midlands Police said: “A man was found in the street with serious stab injuries.
“Police have sealed off Victoria Street and a part of Canterbury Street for forensic examination.
“Detectives are also exploring CCTV in the area and asking for witnesses to contact them quoting log 182 of 20/9.
