A MAN has appeared in court after the attempted rape and kidnap of a 15-year-old girl.
The incident happened in Coventry last month.
Emil Anton, aged 34, of Attoxhall Road, Coventry, has been charged with attempted rape and kidnap and is also accused of assault and threatening her with an offensive weapon on August 22.
At Coventry Magistrates Court he was remanded in custody to appear at Crown Court on October 7.
